Challenge

How do you brand a new kind of company — one operating at the collision of kids marketing, XR technology and the emerging metaverse — before that world even has a common language?

Solution

Start with the name. Billy Galactic conjures interstellar explorers and boundless imagination — a character-forward identity that signals adventure without taking itself too seriously. The name does what great kid brand names do: it's instantly memorable, slightly mysterious and wide open for storytelling.

"Go Boldly" became the brand's rallying cry — an invitation to brands, parents and kids alike to meet this transformational moment with curiosity and courage rather than caution.

The visual identity followed the name's lead: deep space purples and electric magentas, bold typographic layering, and a logo system built for both boardroom decks and digital worlds. The brand had to work for a Nickelodeon veteran pitching Mattel and for a kid stumbling across it on Roblox. It does both.
