Challenge

How do you mobilize mothers around breast cancer prevention — not just awareness — without making them feel scared or overwhelmed?

Solution

Mothers making healthy choices every day are already doing the work. They just don't see themselves as part of a movement. "Mothers of the Revolution" gives them that identity.

The name does two things at once — honoring motherhood while borrowing the energy and urgency of protest. I led the naming, brand strategy and creative direction for the full campaign system. The visual language followed a Shepard Fairey-influenced aesthetic and added a raw typographic collage. The color palette pushed beyond the typical "breast cancer pink" to conjure a vibe that was equal parts street style and personal signature. This wasn't a charity campaign. It was a rallying cry.

"This Is Not Just Me..." became the campaign's central voice, reframing every ordinary healthy behavior (eating organic, exercising, getting enough vitamin D) as a deliberate act of resistance against environmental causes of breast cancer. Each execution built the case piece by piece, ending the same way: This is me joining the revolution.
